It has a main compartment with dual access (via the lid and front), a front pocket and two large side pockets for anything you might want to keep handy. 

Our classic ACS carry system provides great carry comfort and adaptive climate performance. The back frame spacing and perforated padding help prevent heat build-up in the contact areas and the new type of foam and covering used increase the carry comfort still further. The HIGHLAND TRAIL also features all the classic details of our hiking rucksacks: preparation for a hydration system, rain cover, trekking pole attachment etc...
